I vividly remember the feeling of my stomach dropping as I read the text message. I don’t remember the exact words, but the jist of it – I was being fired from a business I had helped create. For nearly two years I had poured ideas, time and money into building up a holistic business. And in an instant, it was all gone.

The rush of emotions were next, anguish-betrayal-devastation mixed into sadness-sorrow and rage. The room around me spun as the rug was ripped out from underneath me. What was happening I thought, why is this happening now? After all I had done, and it just comes down to a text?

And I had the next four hours of a solo road trip to rage and stew, and create, plan and begin again. From that betrayal and breakup was where Metamorphosis, Journey Into Purposeful Living came from.
